We’re celebrating the launch of Issue 9 with an evening of films and conversation at Central Saint Martins University.
Expanding upon the theme of Issue 9, we’ve selected a panel of scientists, writers & artists to discuss their ideas across the spectrum of climate & health. Our friends at Lilith Archive have curated a series of short films on the topic of toxicity and health spotlighting the incredible work by women and non-binary filmmakers.

UAL's Carnival of Crisis demonstrates that the arts can – and must – respond to the climate and ecological emergency. Creative action will be manifested and mobilised through a season of events taking place in parallel with the COP26 Climate Summit hosted by the UK in the context of the global environmental crisis.
At the UAL Carnival of Crisis, you can join It's Freezing in LA! workshops, try out our carbon calculator and pick up a print copy of the magazine on our stall.

With COP26 in progress and in the midst of uneven unfolding climate action, It’s Freezing in LA! invites you to unwind and let loose at the launch of our eighth issue.

IFLA! Art Director @ninarosiekelleycarter and illustrator @bugshepherdbarron will be leading a collaborative illustration workshop, and drinks will be on sale all evening.

This Sept 16-18th, we are delighted to belatedly celebrate the launch of Issue 5 with a new exhibition of creative climate research by our friends at Climate + Cities.
We’re holding socially distant viewings of the project in London Soho. Tickets are £5 and include a free drink from the Climate Cocktail Club, with day tickets also available.

Contra and It’s Freezing in LA! are proud to launch our collaborative event series Climate and Conflict.
Following her September 2019 residency at the Contra studio, come to view a series of site-specific installations by artist Vinita Khanna on the theme of environmental destruction and human nature.
This October we are partnering with London's Wimbledon BookFest to bring together some of our favourite green thinkers.
We're hosting talks, film screenings and short story readings as we continue to untangle some of the most difficult elements of the environmental crisis.
